Frequently Asked Questions
What types of addiction do you treat?
Our experienced team treats addictions to alcohol, opioids, cocaine, inhalants, benzodiazepines, and fentanyl. We also provide care for co-occurring mental health conditions, using a range of specialized therapies. No matter what combination of substance use-related challenges you or your loved one faces, we can help.
What treatment programs do you offer?
Day Treatment (IOP) and Extended Day Treatment (PHP) are our main programs, where you’ll receive intensive care without any on-site stays. You’ll participate in one-on-one counseling, group therapy, and other proven methods. Virtual sessions, morning, daytime, and evening sessions are available for flexibility. Additionally, we provide referral support for detox programs, should you or your loved one be just starting out in recovery.
What makes New Growth Recovery different?
We offer free transportation for those who need it and virtual options for better accessibility. Treatment here addresses you as a whole, prioritizing person-centered, tailored approaches. Our facility includes optional gym classes, animal-assisted therapy, and ample natural light. This creates a space conducive to growth and wellness. With same-day admittance and walk-in options, our center aims to provide immediate care when needed.
Do you accept insurance for treatment?
We work with most major insurance plans as an out-of-network provider, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and more. Our center is also approved for MassHealth through Tufts Health Plan and more. Contact us to verify your insurance, and we’ll assess your benefits and discuss sliding scale pay options before you start treatment.
How long does treatment typically last?
Day Treatment usually spans 6–8 weeks, with individuals attending therapy sessions for 9–12 hours across 3–5 days weekly. Extended Day Treatment typically lasts several weeks and usually involves 5 days of treatment a week. Your specific timeline will depend on how you respond to treatment and what goals you’re working toward.
What support is available after treatment?
Aftercare services include stopgap counseling, relapse prevention skills, and referrals to sponsors and community support groups. Finishing a treatment program is a step in the recovery journey. We help ensure that you have what you need for success in the months and years ahead.
