At New Growth Recovery in Springfield, Massachusetts, you’ll receive fast access to addiction treatment, a dedicated team, and a plan tailored to you. From your first call through aftercare, we help you feel safe and guide you throughout recovery.
You’ll spend full, structured days in Extended Day Treatment and return home at night, giving you strong support without an inpatient stay. Receive about 30 hours a week of therapy, skills work, and wellness activities like yoga and grounding tools.
You’ll attend a focused block of Day Treatment so you can keep up with work, school, or family life while building daily recovery skills. During care, you’ll have 9–15 hours per week of CBT/DBT-based groups and structured support that fits your schedule.
You’ll meet individually or in small groups during addiction therapy to work on triggers, stress, relationships, and underlying mental health needs. Flexible counseling that fits your week, supports long-term recovery, and builds sustainable connections.
You’ll join treatment sessions from home through our secure Online Rehab Program if you live in Massachusetts and need a flexible option. You’ll receive the same clinical guidance, skills training, and support as in-person care during telehealth sessions.
If withdrawal feels unsafe, you’ll be connected quickly to a trusted medical detox partner for supervised care. With our Detox Program Referral options, you’ll experience a warm handoff and a clear plan to enter New Growth as soon as you’re medically stable.
As you complete treatment, you’ll receive support transitioning into long-term recovery with clear next steps. Our Aftercare Program involves relapse prevention planning, community resources, and continued guidance, and short-term therapy as needed.
Disclaimer: Due to Massachusetts licensing, New Growth Recovery uses “Extended Day Treatment” and “Day Treatment.” These are comparable to a Partial Hospitalization Program and an Intensive Outpatient Program, respectively.

We explain symptoms, risks, and which level of care is best suited, depending on the addiction.
Heavy or daily alcohol use, blackouts, or failed cut-downs. Begin with Extended Day Treatment, then step into a Day Program. Detox referral is first to manage withdrawals.
Prescription opioids, rising tolerance, and withdrawal between doses. Detox is often first, followed by the Extended Day or Day Treatment with relapse prevention skills.
A powerful opioid, fentanyl, has a high overdose risk. Detox coordination starts, then Day Treatment, step-down care, and monitored medication support when appropriate.
Binges, crashes, and strong cocaine cravings. Our outpatient programs focus on coping skills and trigger management, then step-down care and ongoing therapy.
Sleep loss, agitation, and compulsive meth use. You’ll experience structured Day Treatment with cognitive and behavioral groups, then a step-down plan and therapy.
Daily use or mixing benzos with alcohol raises withdrawal risk. You’ll likely begin with detox referral, then ongoing outpatient care with careful relapse prevention.
Misuse of ADHD meds or other stimulants for focus or energy. Daytime programs help reset routines, and therapy supports healthy performance and better sleep.
Frequent marijuana use, anxiety, or relying on THC to sleep or cope. Day Treatment or therapy helps you shift habits, boost motivation, and manage stress without cannabis.
Escalating kratom doses or withdrawal-like symptoms. You’ll start with an assessment, detox referral if needed, then Day Treatment and therapy for long-term stability.
Short bursts of euphoria with serious health risks. Your treatment plan for inhalant use may include detox referral, Day Treatment, or Extended Day, and individualized therapy.
You’ll receive treatment through most insurance providers, including MassHealth and out-of-network coverage. Get verification within 2 hours from our admissions team.
